Radiology Technologist - Xray Tech - Part Time

In this role, the Radiology Technologist will perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to obtain required images for a radiological diagnosis. You will respond appropriately to professional staff and patient demands and assist management in sustaining a high quality of service. This position covers ER X-ray, Inpatient X-ray, and OR.

Schedule

This is a part-time position, working Sunday and Monday from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of technical radiology procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative.
• Obtain high-quality images for radiological diagnosis.
• Respond to professional staff and patient demands.
• Assist management in sustaining high-quality service.
• Cover ER X-ray, Inpatient X-ray, and OR.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiography Technologist program.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• New York State Department of Health X-ray License.
• New Graduates: Temporary license required; must supply exam date prior to start of employment. New York State Radiologic Technologist license must be obtained within six months of hire.

Qualifications

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) strongly preferred.

Pay

Salary Range: $46.66 - $57.55 per hour.
