Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) - Part Time

Role Overview Seeking a Full-Time OR X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including general radiology and advanced modalities such as CT, MRI, and interventional procedures. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, executing studies independently, and supporting imaging needs across OR, ED, and inpatient settings. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic imaging studies with minimal supervision and in various settings, including portable exams and on-call situations.Ensure proper patient preparation and equipment setup for procedures.Provide quality control and support advanced imaging modalities; training provided for technologists in advanced areas. Qualifications & Skills Associate degree or higher in a related field.Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) required; additional certifications (e.g., CT, MRI) preferred.No experience required; on-the-job training available, with preferred experience in radiology or related imaging fields.Licenses such as IEMA (Illinois) and relevant certifications (e.g., RTR, CT, MR) are advantageous. Key Attributes Excellent communication and patient care skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to learn and cross-train in advanced imaging modalities. Additional Information Position offers a 3-day workweek (Wednesday to Friday), with no weekends or call.
