About the role
This position is required to work four shifts (two regular and two on-call shifts or four regular set shifts) per month. Open shifts available to pick up vary between 8 am- 7:30 pm, Monday-Friday and 8 am- 5 pm, Saturday and Sunday.
Responsibilities
- Perform X-rays in accordance with Primary Health policies and procedures
- Display the highest quality customer service on the phone and in person
- Absorb and assist Front Office Staff in managing details of patients, schedules, and referrals
- Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider and/or physician
- Provide clinical triage/communication as defined by protocol or per provider instructions
- Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients, including sterilization, cleaning, and checks on medical equipment
- Prepare basic laboratory tests on-premises and prepare laboratory specimens
- Perform phlebotomy involved with the proper collection, labeling, processing, and distribution of specimens for laboratory testing from patients of all ages
- Absorb and assist in managing patient flow, paperwork, and documentation
- Provide quality patient education based on assessment of needs
- Accurately document patient encounters and interventions performed
- Relay provider instructions to patients
- Absorb and assist with non-direct patient care tasks (autoclaving, stocking room, scanning records, mailing, etc.)
- Aid in identifying methods of improving patient care
- Absorb and assist in emergency situations
- Maintain confidentiality regarding patient and business functions of the organization, i.e., HIPAA
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Qualified applicants to be ARRT registered or eligible to sit for the registry exam
- Customer service-oriented attitude/behavior
- Computer proficiency. Ability to use applicable software as required to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Recommended vaccines to include annual Influenza, Hep B, TDaP, MMR, Varicella, and TB

Pay
Casual position. New graduates with no experience who have finished their first semester of clinicals start at $26/hour. Employees are eligible for a bonus after one full year of employment.
