Radiology Technologist Student for CT

Responsibilities

• Aids credentialed technologists in performing radiographs and other studies.
• Greet patients and guests appropriately, adhering to hospital and department policies.
• Identify and verify patient details including name and date of birth.
• Collect necessary patient information and complete safety forms.
• Transport patients between exam rooms and tables.
• Assist technologists in positioning patients and moving equipment.
• Document completed exams in the Radiology Information Computer System.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and well-stocked.
• Ensure patient, guest, and employee safety by following hospital policies and regulations.
• Conduct front desk operations and use centralized transport programs.
• Schedule exams and communicate with supervisors as needed.
• Answer phones and direct calls, providing necessary information.
• Access patient records as required for duties and regulatory purposes.

Qualifications

• Active participation in an AMA-approved training program for Radiologic Technologist (RTS) or ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology school or related Allied Health Program (Ultrasound or MRI).
• Knowledge of medical terminology and isolation/sterile techniques.
• Computer skills, including word processing and data input.
• CPR certification.
