About the Role

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging exams using specialized equipment, collaborating with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality results.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging exams according to established protocols, ensuring optimal image quality.
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper identification throughout procedures.
  • Operate imaging equipment and information systems accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain safety standards, infection control protocols, and accurate documentation of procedures.
  • Assist and instruct colleagues and students as needed.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures and provide education as required.
  • Review image quality and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
  • Adhere to emergency response protocols and contrast administration guidelines.

Requirements

  • ARRT (R) certification.
  • State licensure, if applicable.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Skills

  • Knowledge of anatomy, imaging evaluation, and equipment operation.
  • Understanding of contrast protocols and emergency response procedures.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Manual dexterity and physical ability to lift, move, and assist patients and equipment.

This role requires technical proficiency, excellent patient care, safety awareness, and effective communication skills to support quality imaging services.
