Job Summary and Qualifications
- Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program with current certification by ARRT.
- Maintain current registry by attending continuing education activities to maintain knowledge and skill level.
- BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Prefer 2 years recent acute care experience.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (ARRT-R).
- Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate

About the Role
Our Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Department provides a broad range of services to aid in the screening, diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions and emergent injuries. A few responsibilities of our Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) include:
- You will operate x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body.
- Under the supervision of a Radiologist, your role performs x-ray therapy on patients and explains procedures to patients and addresses their concerns.
- Your role will serve patients in our emergency department, patients in our hospital, and outpatient patients in need of services as well.
- Your role will be responsible for maintaining expert technical and patient-care skills and providing quality diagnostic results.
