About the Role
Under supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation. Applies principles of radiation protection and complies with regulations. Assumes responsibility for designated area and provides clinical instruction as appropriate. Follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic exams in general radiology, including 64 slice CT, bone density scan, digital mammography, ultrasound, and X-rays.
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in diagnostic imaging.
- Apply principles of radiation protection and comply with regulations.
- Provide clinical instruction as appropriate.

Qualifications
- Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
Requirements
- CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT (within 180 days of hire).
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT (upon hire).
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA or ARC (upon hire).
