About the Role

The Radiology Technologist performs medical imaging examinations using advanced equipment, ensuring high-quality images while adhering to safety standards and minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA). They follow physician orders and tailor procedures to individual patient needs, including age-related considerations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct imaging procedures accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain proper positioning, radiation dose calibration, and patient safety.
  • Utilize clinical judgment for optimal imaging outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols to protect patients and staff.

Requirements

  • Valid Oregon Radiographer License or Temporary License upon hire.
  • National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months.
  • CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Education meeting certification, licensing, or registration requirements.
  • New graduates must obtain a permanent license within 6 months.

Pay

$36.99 - $57.44 per hour.
