About the role
We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to perform imaging examinations based on physicians' orders, utilizing advanced imaging equipment while ensuring patient safety and optimal image quality. The role requires proper patient positioning, radiation dose calibration, and minimizing exposure using ALARA principles.
Responsibilities
- Conducting diagnostic imaging procedures with clinical judgment and technical expertise.
- Ensuring patient comfort and safety during exams.
- Maintaining equipment and adhering to safety protocols to reduce radiation exposure.
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Oregon Radiographer License or Temporary License upon hire.
- National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months.
- CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and patient-focused approach.
