About the role
Join a healthcare team as a Radiology Technologist, responsible for performing diagnostic imaging exams with specialized equipment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain competency and ensure proper patient identification
- Prepare and position patients for imaging
- Perform quality imaging and adhere to safety protocols
- Document procedures accurately
- Operate imaging equipment and evaluate image quality
- Provide patient education, ensure comfort, and address concerns
- Follow infection control and radiation safety guidelines
- Assist and instruct students and colleagues in exam protocols
- Maintain accurate records and follow reporting protocols
Qualifications and Skills
- ARRT certification and state radiologic technologist license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Knowledge of anatomy, imaging techniques, equipment operation, and emergency response
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with effective communication and task prioritization skills
- Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients, and to navigate busy environments
Preferred qualifications: 1–2 years of radiology experience and IV certification.
