Role Summary The radiologic technologist operates radiology equipment and performs routine diagnostic procedures across multiple specialties to support physician diagnoses and treatments. Key Responsibilities Perform radiologic procedures following safety standards and physician requests.Select and adjust technical settings for each patient based on clinical judgment.Develop and implement appropriate procedure and treatment plans according to hospital protocols.Complete documentation to ensure compliance with policies.Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition.Participate in performance improvement activities and collect quality data.Achieve assigned goals and perform additional duties as needed. Qualifications And Skills Completion of an accredited radiography program.Experience through Radiology Technology Program completion.ARRT registration in Radiography (R), with BLS certification within 14 days of hire; new graduates must obtain registry within 120 days.Understanding of radiologic principles and techniques, ability to follow instructions, and good organizational skills.State licensure as required. Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree in a related field.Registration in two or more specialties.
