About the role
MRI Technologist responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes.
Responsibilities
- Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history while ensuring confidentiality.
- Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and prioritize patient safety using ALARA principles.
- Prepare and administer medications as prescribed, evaluate image quality, and verify data storage and transfer.
- Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, applying safety principles to minimize risks.
- Assist licensed practitioners with MRI procedures and interventional techniques.
- Select pulse sequences considering protocols and data acquisition factors.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and demonstrate proficiency in all job duties.
Qualifications
- Certification by ARRT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB with MR specialization
- Graduate of a radiologic technology program
- Bachelor’s degree preferred

- Strong technical knowledge of MRI procedures
