Radiology Technologist - Medical Assistant PRN
Job Summary
The position is incentive eligible. Hourly Wage Estimate: $29.35 - $42.58 / hour.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services required.
- Registered Radiologic Technologist, ARRT Certification required.
- General Medical Radiology Technician (GMRT) license in state of residency if required by the state.
- BLS certification within 30 days of start required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP) is required.
- Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) preferred.
- Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within 30 days of start.
- Federal Drug Screening Certification within 30 days of start.

About the Role

As a Radiology Tech/Medical Assistant, you will take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKG’s, administer IM injections, perform all x-ray/imaging services, collect patient history, document EHR appropriately, assist with check-in/check-out, keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress, and maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent out to other labs.
