About the role
We are looking for a motivated, hardworking, and fun technologist to join our radiography team. The role involves performing radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner.
Responsibilities
- Performs radiography procedures based on the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) “Radiography Practice Standards” and the ASRT “Code of Ethics”
- Understands and adheres to departmental exam protocols
- Actively participates in quality control and quality assurance activities using the “APIE” model
- Performs venipuncture
- Prepares, administers, and documents activities related to contrast
Requirements
- Completion of formal Radiological Technologist training from an AMA-approved school
- Twenty-four month clinical internship required
- Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy certification required
- ARRT certification required (ARRT-eligible candidates will be considered for hire with the expectation that certification will be obtained within 12 months of hire)
- Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment
- Experience with Epic preferred
