Radiology Technologist Lead
Maintains Compliance and Documentation
Maintains accuracy and timeliness of documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
Sets up and submits high-quality images and documents promptly, ensuring image quality, correct lead markers, and patient data/history.
Supports Patient Care and Workflow
Supports scheduling of personnel to provide adequate coverage during all hours of operation, using flexible staffing when appropriate.
Ensures timely and high-quality patient exams, minimizing empty table time.
Collaborates with Healthcare Providers
Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of patient care.
Ensures Quality and Equipment Maintenance
Oversees quality control testing, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Provides Training and Leadership
Serves as a resource to department staff and other team members as needed.
Performs staff orientation, training, and coaching, and provides input for performance evaluations.
Leads, organizes, and directs daily radiology department workflow of patients, technologists, and students.
Supports Infection Control and Safety
Practices infection control standards and uses approved PPE and disinfectant agents.
