About the role
The Radiology Technologist II performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, and Special Procedures, following departmental protocols. They serve as the primary caregiver for patients, ensuring high-quality service and care, and participate in Performance Improvement and Quality Control activities to maintain departmental standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee radiology operations and staff in the absence of management
- Maintain supplies, equipment, and inventory within the department
- Support scheduling for sub-departments
- Process and transmit images to PACS
- Promote teamwork and excellent customer service
Qualifications
- State licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required
- National certifications in two modalities
- Current BLS certification
- Familiarity with State and Federal regulations
- At least one year of clinical radiography experience
- Graduate of an ARRT-accredited program
- Proficient computer skills
