About the role
This role requires a combination of technical skills, patient care, and departmental support to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, and Special Procedures following department protocols
- Serve as the primary contact for patients, ensuring quality care and service
- Participate in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) activities
- Assist in maintaining departmental performance and supplies
- Support scheduling and oversee radiology operations or staff in absence of management
- Process and transmit images to PACS, promote teamwork and excellent customer service
Qualifications
- State licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required
- National certifications in two modalities
- Current BLS certification
- One year of acute clinical radiography experience
- Graduate of ARRT-accredited program
- Proficient in computer skills
- Knowledge of State and Federal regulations
