Radiology Technologist (General)

About the role

Seeking a Full-Time General Radiology Technologist (Imaging) to perform general radiographic procedures supporting adult and pediatric patients. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, conducting imaging examinations independently, and providing excellent customer service. The technologist will support imaging in various hospital units, including ED and ICU, and may perform portable exams or on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Preparing patients and equipment for procedures, explaining processes professionally
• Performing radiographic exams accurately and independently
• Supporting imaging needs across different hospital units

Qualifications and Skills

• Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency; current enrollment in radiology program acceptable
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R))
• BLS certification required; experience preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to work with advanced imaging equipment and provide high-quality patient care
• Level 1 trauma center experience is a plus
• Experience with MRI, CT, or general radiology, and certifications such as ARRT or equivalent are advantageous
