Role Overview
This position involves performing general radiographic procedures to support diagnosis and treatment in a hospital setting. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, conducts imaging exams independently, and provides high-quality patient care with professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures, ensuring clear communication and excellent customer service.
- Perform radiographic exams in various settings, including emergency departments, ICU, and inpatient floors.
- Work independently, including on-call and portable exams, following department protocols.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency (or currently enrolled in a Radiology program).
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- Preferred: Level 1 trauma center experience and additional certifications such as MRI, CT, or ARRT.
Pay & Schedule
- Day shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4 pm.
- Extra holiday pay for scheduled holidays.
