Radiology Technologist (General)

Role Overview

This position involves performing general radiographic procedures to support diagnosis and treatment in a hospital setting. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, conducts imaging exams independently, and provides high-quality patient care with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures, ensuring clear communication and excellent customer service.
• Perform radiographic exams in various settings, including emergency departments, ICU, and inpatient floors.
• Work independently, including on-call and portable exams, following department protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency (or currently enrolled in a Radiology program).
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Preferred: Level 1 trauma center experience and additional certifications such as MRI, CT, or ARRT.

Pay & Schedule

• Day shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4 pm.
• Extra holiday pay for scheduled holidays.
