About the role
Radiologic Technologist in the Radiology department, performing radiographic procedures with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and specialized radiographic and fluoroscopic exams, including gastrointestinal, ERCP, Arthrography, Hysterosalpingography, Urography, and portable X-Ray procedures.
- Ensure high-quality imaging and accurate computer documentation.
- Provide clinical patient care and maintain infection control standards.
- Mentor students and work collaboratively with team members.
- Maintain equipment stock levels and personal protective equipment.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as needed.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- ARRT certification and Connecticut State license required or obtainable within 3 months.
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
- Proficiency in at least two imaging modalities, with knowledge of physics, anatomy, medical terminology, sterile technique, and radiation safety.
- Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and competency.
