About the role

Radiologic Technologist in the Radiology department, performing radiographic procedures with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and specialized radiographic and fluoroscopic exams, including gastrointestinal, ERCP, Arthrography, Hysterosalpingography, Urography, and portable X-Ray procedures.
  • Ensure high-quality imaging and accurate computer documentation.
  • Provide clinical patient care and maintain infection control standards.
  • Mentor students and work collaboratively with team members.
  • Maintain equipment stock levels and personal protective equipment.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as needed.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • ARRT certification and Connecticut State license required or obtainable within 3 months.
  • Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
  • Proficiency in at least two imaging modalities, with knowledge of physics, anatomy, medical terminology, sterile technique, and radiation safety.
  • Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and competency.
