About the role

Join a Surgery Center team specializing in minimally invasive surgery and pain management. In this role, you will perform various imaging procedures in operating and procedure rooms, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Positioning patients for diagnostic imaging, reducing anxiety, and obtaining cooperation
• Adjusting devices for optimal views as requested by physicians
• Assisting with fluoroscopic and specialized x-ray exams
• Processing and reviewing images for quality and proper identification
• Preparing images for interpretation by radiologists or physicians

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• State licensure as a Medical X-ray Operator
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification
• BLS Certification
• Minimum of 1 year direct imaging experience; 3 years with fluoroscopy, neurosurgery, or pain procedures preferred

Skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, EMR, and medical practice software
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to respond promptly to patient needs
• Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to identify unsafe conditions
• Ability to interpret verbal instructions accurately
