About the role
Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is a major teaching and research hospital with 632 beds, offering five residency programs and a cardiology fellowship in partnership with Wayne State University School of Medicine. It is a Level II trauma center and accredited as a primary stroke center.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology while following regulations and principles of radiation protection.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret and communicate diagnostic results.
Requirements
- Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
- Required: CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT.
- Required: CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT.
- Required: CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC.
Qualifications
- Training gained at student level.
- 180 Days required: CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT.
- Upon Hire required: CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC.
