Radiology Technologist
Primary Responsibilities
- Positions patients and adjusts equipment for taking X-rays following established procedures
- Instructs patients regarding procedures
- Follows prescribed safety standards in operating all required radiologic equipment
- Selects length and intensity for radiation exposure by adjusting equipment on individual patient basis
- Examines radiologic images for properties such as density, contrast, definition, magnification and distortion
- Insures equipment is in working order. Reports equipment malfunctions to supervisor
- Processes routine paperwork
- Maintains patient confidentiality
- Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations
Required Qualifications
- Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved (2+ years) school and meets the requirements for registry by the ARRT
- Current Oregon license in diagnostic radiography
- Certified with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Healthcare provider level CPR/BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- CT experience
- Experience with an electronic medical record system
Pay and Benefits
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
The hourly pay for this role will range from $23.89 to $42.69 per hour based on full-time employment.

About the Role
This position serves the patients, providers and other support staff by performing tests using the appropriate radiology equipment to make clinical diagnostic X-rays and performing routine diagnostic procedures as directed by providers.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved (2+ years) school and meets the requirements for registry by the ARRT
