Radiology Technologist

About the role

Contribute to patient care in a mission-driven organization with a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiology procedures accurately and efficiently following established standards.
  • Initiate appropriate interventions when immediate attention is required.
  • Review exam indications and report inappropriate requests.
  • Provide complete and accurate exam data for radiologist interpretation.
  • Utilize computer systems such as PACS, RIS, HIS, and EMR, and manage image storage and retrieval.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, quality, infection control, and legal standards.
  • Mentor staff and students during training and clinical rotations.
  • Assist with record keeping and ensure adherence to accreditation and regulatory standards.

Qualifications and skills

  • Associate’s degree or certificate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT Certification (or within 60 days of hire).
  • Strong communication skills, visual acuity, and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to adhere to safety principles and maintain confidentiality.
