Responsibilities
- Perform radiology procedures accurately and efficiently following established standards.
- Initiate appropriate interventions when immediate attention is required.
- Review exam indications and report inappropriate requests.
- Provide complete and accurate exam data for radiologist interpretation.
- Utilize computer systems such as PACS, RIS, HIS, and EMR, and manage image storage and retrieval.
- Maintain compliance with safety, quality, infection control, and legal standards.
- Mentor staff and students during training and clinical rotations.
- Assist with record keeping and ensure adherence to accreditation and regulatory standards.
Qualifications and skills
- Associate’s degree or certificate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT Certification (or within 60 days of hire).
- Strong communication skills, visual acuity, and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to adhere to safety principles and maintain confidentiality.
