We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Permanent Radiology Technologist to join our dedicated healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled professional with a passion for providing high-quality patient care and a commitment to medical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Performing diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and quality standards.
• Ensuring the safety of patients by adhering to radiation safety measures and dose awareness.
• Conducting portable radiography procedures and providing trauma/ED imaging support as needed.
• Assisting in the operating room with imaging support and working collaboratively with the surgical team.
• Utilizing basic computer skills to manage patient records and operate imaging machinery.
• Performing quality assurance checks on radiology equipment and reporting any malfunctions or issues.
• Communicating effectively with patients, explaining procedures, and providing comfort measures to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Adhering to infection prevention guidelines and ensuring proper room turnover.
• Maintaining current BLS (CPR) certification and applying these skills as necessary.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist.
• Demonstrable experience in patient positioning and image acquisition.
• Proven knowledge of radiation safety and dose awareness.
• Experience in portable radiography and trauma/ED imaging support.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Experience in performing quality assurance checks.
• Excellent patient communication skills and a commitment to providing comfort measures.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and room turnover basics.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification.

Salary

$23.83 - $33.45 per hour
