About the role
As a Radiologic Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging exams using specialized equipment, ensuring high-quality results in collaboration with radiologists and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Maintain ARRT or modality-specific competency in clinical and technical functions.
- Prepare patients, verify identification, and ensure adherence to protocols.
- Perform imaging studies, review image quality, and operate related systems.
- Follow radiation safety and infection control guidelines.
- Educate patients, ensure comfort, and document procedures accurately.
- Assist and instruct colleagues and students on exam procedures and equipment use.
- Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, and reporting equipment issues.
Qualifications & Skills
- ARRT certification and state licensure (if applicable).
- BLS certification.
- Knowledge of anatomy, image evaluation, equipment operation, and contrast protocols.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and independent work skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain a clean environment.
Physical & Other Requirements
- Ability to see, read, and operate equipment; manual dexterity.
- Capability to lift, transfer patients, and navigate busy environments.
- Frequent standing, walking, and manual handling of supplies and equipment.
