About the role

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging exams using specialized equipment, ensuring high-quality results in collaboration with radiologists and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain ARRT or modality-specific competency in clinical and technical functions.
  • Prepare patients, verify identification, and ensure adherence to protocols.
  • Perform imaging studies, review image quality, and operate related systems.
  • Follow radiation safety and infection control guidelines.
  • Educate patients, ensure comfort, and document procedures accurately.
  • Assist and instruct colleagues and students on exam procedures and equipment use.
  • Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, and reporting equipment issues.

Qualifications & Skills

  • ARRT certification and state licensure (if applicable).
  • BLS certification.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, image evaluation, equipment operation, and contrast protocols.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and independent work skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain a clean environment.

Physical & Other Requirements

  • Ability to see, read, and operate equipment; manual dexterity.
  • Capability to lift, transfer patients, and navigate busy environments.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and manual handling of supplies and equipment.
