About the role
Radiology Technologist in an urgent care setting, providing diagnostic imaging services.
Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic exams adhering to protocols and standards
- Ensure patient safety during imaging procedures
- Review and document images for accuracy and quality
- Collaborate with care teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment effectively
- Maintain safety practices and support efficient workflow using radiology systems
Requirements
- ARRT certification
- State license (if applicable)
- BLS certification
- Medical Assistant competencies (preferred)
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience, especially in high-volume or urgent care environments
- IV certification (preferred)
Skills
- Strong technical imaging skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Effective communication
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
- Visual acuity and manual dexterity
- Ability to lift and transport patients
- Standing for extended periods
