We are looking for a motivated, independent, and responsible individual to work in our imaging department, primarily at our St. Paul hospital location and Maple Grove clinic.
Schedule
- 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, Monday–Friday (8-hour shifts)
- Rotational weekend/holiday coverage on-site (St. Paul) from 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
- Included in the weekend/holiday after-hours call rotation
- 0.8 FTE, benefit-eligible position
Responsibilities
- Respond to physician orders for diagnostic imaging procedures by producing high-quality images that meet the expectations of the ordering physicians and radiologists.
- Proficient and safe use of imaging equipment, including:
- Radiographic
- C-arm, O-arm
- Portable radiographic
- Fluoroscopic
- Proficient and safe use of ancillary equipment relevant to the modality, including:
- Computed radiography
- Positioning devices
- Ceiling lift
- Imaging printers
- Digitizer
- PACS
- RIS
- Proficient in all exam types for the assigned modality:
- Radiographic: Skull, Spine, Chest, Abdomen, Pelvis, Upper and Lower Extremity, Intraoperative
- Fluoroscopic, C-arm, and O-arm
- Perform patient assessment of pain, pregnancy, and ability to complete the exam.
- Provide patient education concerning the procedure.
- Document patient history.
- Properly position the patient.
- Select the exam protocol and equipment parameters/technical factors.
- Discharge the patient with post-procedure instructions.
- Evaluate resulting images and accept or reject images appropriately.
Requirements
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. If candidate holds valid CPR through another acceptable organization (as determined by Gillette), candidate may begin employment but must complete BLS through the American Heart Association within one month of employment.
- Certified and in good standing with the ARRT prior to start date.
- Experience working in a digital imaging environment.

Pay
- Hourly wage: $31.36/hour to $45.44/hour
- Pay is dependent on several factors including number of hours worked within the field, education, and certification/licensure.
