Radiology Technician | PRN Nights

About the Role

This position involves performing a variety of imaging procedures, including CT and X-Rays, with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain imaging equipment such as X-Ray, CT, and PACS systems.
• Perform imaging exams following established policies, procedures, and regulations, notifying physicians of results.
• Assist healthcare staff with technical support and patient care throughout the facility.
• Maintain documentation, logs, and records in both paper and electronic formats.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform testing per policies and regulatory standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance, quality control, proficiency testing, and record-keeping for all equipment and testing activities.
• Perform clinical procedures under physician or nurse supervision when needed.
• Travel to multiple facility locations and participate in staff meetings.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned, including ER technician tasks if required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED; Associate’s Degree in Radiology preferred.
• Certification as a radiologic technologist and ARRT registration in radiography; CT registration preferred.
• CT certification required within 12 months for Pennsylvania candidates.
• Current BLS certification; 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience preferred.
• Proficiency with imaging hardware, software, and PACS systems.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Additional clearances required for Pennsylvania candidates.
