Radiology Tech - Weekends

About the role

Seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures including plain films, fluoroscopy, portable, and OR exams, with optional limited CT in emergent cases.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients, ensure understanding, and provide educational materials.
• Transport, position, and prepare patients for imaging, verifying identity and following safety protocols.
• Administer contrast media and medications within scope and regulations.
• Monitor patient during procedures, report abnormalities, and ensure high-quality images are submitted promptly.
• Maintain equipment functionality, report issues, and uphold a clean department environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned, working in alertness and safety.

Qualifications and skills

• Completion of a Radiology Technology program; no prior experience required.
• Valid professional licenses/certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT-R Radiography, and ARRT-BD Bone Density, depending on state.
• Physical ability for constant standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), patient handling, and repetitive movements.
• Strong communication skills and attention to safety and detail.
