About the role
This position competently performs imaging on general radiographic equipment under the supervision of an Orthopaedic provider and the direction of the administrator. The role is responsible for radiographic and imaging protocols, recognizing general radiography anatomy, providing service excellence, and complying with hospital policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Performs imaging on general radiographic equipment
- Recognizes general radiography anatomy
- Provides service excellence
- Complies with hospital policies and procedures
- Uses RIS/PACS and HIS for proper recording of patient exams and dissemination of patient results
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completed an approved and accredited Radiology Technology program
- Digital Imaging and post processing PACS experience
- Current state R.T. license
- BLS Certification through American Heart Association
- Obtain 24 ECE credits within a two-year period for re-certification and licensure
- ARRT Certified
Qualifications
- Knowledge and ability to provide care based on physical and psychosocial development and safety issues related to patients of all age groups, including infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric
- Demonstrated moderate knowledge of basic computer skills

Pay
Pay Range: $32.15 - $46.84
