Key Responsibilities
- Verify patient identity and prepare patients for imaging procedures.
- Assist with contrast administration and position patients accurately based on anatomy.
- Perform CT exams following department protocols and transmit data for interpretation.
- Evaluate image quality, make adjustments, and ensure diagnostic accuracy.
- Conduct equipment maintenance, identify issues, and support departmental operations.
- Maintain radiation safety and infection prevention standards.
- Complete documentation accurately and pursue ongoing professional development.
Qualifications & Skills
- Completion of ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology training.
- Current BLS certification and Utah Radiologic Technologist License.
- ARRT Radiography certification and eligibility for CT registry.
