Job Summary

You will produce diagnostic images for pediatric patients, ensuring accurate diagnoses and positive experiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform various imaging examinations including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs.
• Create a comforting and positive environment for young patients and their families.
• Understand the importance of diagnostic imaging in a pediatric context.
• Create child-friendly workflows, position patients appropriately, and capture precise results.
• Ensure patient/family rights are respected and maintained.
• Respect patient/family privacy and modesty.
• Identify the presence and type of Advanced Directives.
• Report suspected cases of abuse/neglect.
• Understand and access the Bioethics Committee.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED
• Minimum 5 years prior experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• Medical Radiographer license (CA)
• Basic Life Support - CPR certification
• Preferred Associates Other
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT certification

$59.02 - $68.41 /hour
