Responsibilities
- Operates radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic radiographs and performs routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.
- Provides patient services using imaging modalities.
- Provides patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
- Demonstrates ability to perform advanced diagnostic imaging (Fluoroscopy and Lumbar punctures).
- Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program.
- 4 years of experience.
- ARDMS or ARRT (Radiographer) certification registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R) – required upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification – required upon hire.
