About the role

Garden City Hospital is a state-of-the-art medical facility with over 300 licensed beds and a teaching hospital, offering medical education to students, residents and fellows from across the country. The residency and fellowship programs provide graduate medical education to more than 80 trainees in specialties. Our award-winning staff includes over 350 of the area's best and brightest physicians from almost every specialty.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations.
• Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs.
• Participates in PI/QC activities.
• Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Requirements

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• ARRT-R certification is required.
• Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
• At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.
