Job Description

• Learn and adapt to new technologies and protocols, helping develop the knowledge and competency of coworkers and students.
• Acquire knowledge and skills through formal training, in‑service, continuing education, and experience.
• Answer phones using scripted greeting.
• Maintain knowledge and understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Consistently attend department meetings and other meetings as assigned by supervisor.
• Transport patients to and from imaging exam rooms, assist patients on and off exam tables, and transport patients to or from their hospital room when requested.
• Identify safety issues, intervene, and notify supervisor while operating equipment safely and adhering to infection control standards.
• May transport pharmaceutical waste from the point of generation to a designated secure storage area, following proper handling and transport protocols.
• Utilize computer systems, office equipment, and PACS system efficiently.
• Set up imaging equipment and perform safe and effective procedures on patients of all ages.
• Assist technologists with exams, process and clean cassettes, and ensure rooms are stocked with adequate supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) (Preferred)
• Basic computer skills (Preferred)

Education

• High School Graduate or equivalent (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications

• Basic Life Support – CPR Certification (BLS) (Required)

Pay Range

$16.02 – $25.63 per hour
