Radiology Tech Assistant

About the role

With a great team and resources, you will have the ability to perform specific diagnostic-related duties in providing for the care and comfort of patients under the direction of the Technologist. You will also assist the Radiologic Technologist in preparing for various diagnostic procedures such as imaging management, verifying the patient’s clinical history, assisting with the patient’s immobilizations, and performing clearance of CAT patients for screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Radiologic Technologist in preparing for various diagnostic procedures.
• Verify the patient’s clinical history.
• Absorb and immobilize patients as needed.
• Perform clearance of CAT patients for screening.

Requirements

• Patient care or customer oriented experience preferred.
• Computer skills preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Student Radiography experience preferred; enrolled in a JRCERT accredited Radiography Program.
