Radiology Supervisor

Job Summary

The Supervisor performs Radiological diagnostic procedures as outlined by the Radiologist. Supervises and responsible for training of all technical staff on designated shifts for Radiology. This supervisor has operational responsibility for all imaging modalities after business hours, to include Ultrasound, CT, MRI, NM, and IR. This supervisor is responsible for minor PACS administration tasks and Super User resources for other health system facilities to include MCMC and Centre Pointe ED. Communicate any emergent events that may take place after business hours to Director and or administration when necessary. Intra facility communication of operational concerns regarding ED and IP imaging services will be the responsibility of the 2nd shift supervisor.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support Required(ARRT-R)
• Radiography Certification Required
• SCRQSA Required(RT)
• Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer Graduate of an AMA Approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Experience in Diagnostic Imaging required
• Experience in Supervisory role strongly preferred
