About the role
The Radiology Staff Nurse II provides care for adult and pediatric patients undergoing imaging procedures such as MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, and Diagnostic Radiology. The nurse collaborates closely with radiologists, anesthesiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients prior to procedures
- Administer medications
- Monitor vital signs and sedation
- Respond to complications
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
Qualifications
- Current RN licensure recognized by the State of Vermont
- ADN required (BSN preferred)
- Over one year of relevant clinical experience
Schedule
This is a per diem role without fixed hours, potentially involving 8 to 10‑hour shifts on weekdays between 6:00 am and 6:30 pm, depending on coverage needs.
