This is a per diem position in the Radiology Department.

About the Role

The Radiology/Imaging Services RNs provide radiology care for patients from all areas of UWMC, inpatient and outpatient. RNs in this department provide procedural care including IV starts, conscious sedation monitoring, and nursing assessment.

  • Function as a liaison between patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers
  • Become a subject expert in client teaching of recent or future Radiology care
  • Knowledgeable on full cycle nursing care in the Radiology field

Responsibilities

  • Provide triage assessment, nursing diagnosis, and evaluate all aspects of nursing care for each discipline within the procedural area of Interventional Radiology
  • Review and present all pertinent patient health history, physician orders, and patient needs to formulate and prioritize a plan for procedural care

Requirements

  • At least two years of previous experience in a Procedural Area, Emergency, or ICU
  • Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Washington
  • BLS certification

Pay

  • Pay Range Minimum: $46.97 hourly
  • Pay Range Maximum: $86.17 hourly
  • Additional Compensation:
    • $5.00/hr night shift
    • $4.00/hr weekends
    • $3.00/hr evenings
    • $1.00/hr for BSN
    • $1.25/hr for Nursing Certification
