Radiology Staff Nurse II - Per Diem

About the role

The Radiology Staff Nurse II provides care for adult and pediatric patients undergoing imaging procedures such as MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, and Diagnostic Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients prior to procedures
• Administer medications
• Monitor vital signs and sedation when necessary
• Respond to any complications
• Collaborate with radiologists, anesthesiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care
• Educate patients and families
• Coordinate services
• Promote comfort and safety throughout the imaging process, from preparation to recovery and discharge

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure recognized by the State of Vermont (ADN required, BSN preferred)
• More than one year of relevant clinical experience

Schedule

This is a per diem role, with shifts typically ranging from 8 to 10 hours, Monday through Friday, between 6:00am and 6:30pm, depending on the imaging modality covered.
