About the role
The Radiology Report Coordinator is responsible for managing the receipt, organization, review, and delivery of radiology reports and related medical documentation. This role serves as a key liaison between medical providers, clients, and internal teams to ensure reports are obtained, processed accurately, and delivered promptly.
Responsibilities
- Contact imaging facilities and medical providers to obtain outstanding radiology reports and related documentation.
- Review incoming reports and records for completeness, accuracy, and proper patient identification.
- Sort, batch, upload, and attach radiology reports and supporting medical documentation within internal systems.
- Process and distribute reports to clients via secure email, fax, and other approved transmission methods.
- Maintain accurate tracking of report status and follow up on outstanding requests.
- Coordinate additional report-related services, including image CD requests, rereads, reschedules, and other administrative tasks.
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA requirements and company compliance standards.
- Support departmental goals through effective communication, organization, and teamwork.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Dependable attendance and ability to work onsite in the Jacksonville office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling medical records, radiology reports, or healthcare documentation.
- Knowledge of workers' compensation processes is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Typing speed of approximately 60 WPM preferred.

Pay
$17/hr firm
