Position: Radiology Coordinator • Location: Bohemia, NY • Organization: New York Imaging
Responsibilities
- Pay meticulous attention to detail to ensure all patient information is up to date and accurate
- Schedule and prep patients appropriately
- Ensure valid authorization is on file and obtain all relevant documentation for add‑on appointments
- Collaborate with rads/technologists to address any issues or changes with schedules
- Address messages from other staff, departments, and MD offices
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines while handling sensitive patient information
- Address all email inquiries as applicable in a timely manner
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in radiology scheduling is required
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Pay
Starting pay: $26 per hour
