About the role

Responsibilities
- Administer ionizing radiation to patients for diagnostic purposes.
- Provide patient services.
- Perform radiographic procedures using radiographic modalities.
- Operators are limited to exams they can perform; exams on small children and babies require manager or QA Tech evaluation before being allowed.
- Provide optimal patient care utilizing established and accepted techniques.
Requirements
If not certified or have limited scope training upon hire, must enroll in the Radiologic Operator training through Essentia Health.
Qualifications
- Minnesota: Valid MN Department of Health X‑ray Operator certificate within one year of hire or transfer.
- Wisconsin: Current Limited X‑ray machine operator permit through the Wisconsin Society of Radiologic Technologists within one year of hire or transfer.
- North Dakota: Current Limited X‑ray Machine Operator licensure through the North Dakota Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board (NDBMIRT).

Pay
Compensation range: $25.22 – $37.83 per hour.
Schedule
- Shift rotation: Day/Eve rotation.
- Weekends and holidays: No call obligation.
- Possible remote/hybrid option.
