UT Health East Texas has extended its healthcare services to include urgent care facilities staffed by highly skilled and compassionate healthcare professionals dedicated to providing exceptional care for various non-life-threatening conditions.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiology procedures by utilizing ionizing radiation and/or other imaging modalities within NCT scope to aid in the diagnoses and treatment of injury/disease.
• Assists medical staff as a Certified Medical Assistant.
• Subject to overtime and call back as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Completion of accredited CCMA Program.
• Completion of accredited NCT Radiology Program.
• Medication administration and I.V. Therapy or current Medical Assistant Certification.
• Active CCMA certification.
• Licensed by the State of Texas (TMB) as a non-certified technologist (NCT).
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Qualifications

• 6 months’ medical clinic experience preferred.
