Radiology Modality Manager

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Modality Manager to lead and oversee the operations of our radiology department. The ideal candidate will manage radiology modalities, ensure the delivery of high-quality imaging services, and maintain compliance with healthcare standards and regulations. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of radiology technologies and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of radiology modalities, including MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound.
• Supervise and support radiology technologists and staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance, upgrades, and procurement to ensure optimal functionality.
• Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and administrative teams to optimize imaging services.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
• Analyze departmental performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
• Provide training and professional development opportunities for radiology staff.

Requirements

• Education: Associate degree or Certificate in the radiologic technology field.
• 5 years of experience as a clinical imaging professional.
• 3 years of experience as a supervisor or lead.
• Certification in one of the following: RAD, CT, MRI, Mammography, Ultrasound, PET CT, Nuclear Medicine, or Interventional Radiology.
• Licensed Radiographer in the State of Maryland (as applicable).
