Radiology Medical Assistant

About the Role

The Radiology Medical Assistant I operates under the general supervision of the Director of Radiology and Operations Supervisor, and the clinical direction of the section Team Leaders. This role is responsible for performing basic clinical duties to prepare patients for Radiology procedures. The Radiology-MA I collaborates with clinical and support services teams to ensure efficient and effective department operations while maintaining confidentiality of patient records, medical treatment, and diagnosis in accordance with department policies and procedures. Patient and family-centered care is a core aspect of this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic clinical duties to prepare patients for Radiology procedures.
• Collaborate with clinical and support services teams to ensure efficient department operations.
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient records, medical treatment, and diagnosis.
• Adhere to department policies and procedures.
• Provide patient and family-centered care.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Good interpersonal and computer skills.

Qualifications

• One to three years of experience in a medical office setting preferred.
