Responsibilities

  • Radiology Division Management: Plan, direct, organize, control, and improve functions of the assigned division within the Department of Radiology. Coordinate and conduct section and staff meetings. Work with the Radiology educator to develop and conduct in-service education programs for new equipment, procedures, and policies. Assist the Senior Director and Business Director in preparation of budgets and global review of department operations. Work closely with medical staff and management to ensure high-quality customer service. Recommend operational changes to enhance productivity, efficiency, and service quality. Perform as a staff imaging technologist when necessary.
  • Performance Development: Participate in developing and monitoring an effective staffing and retention strategy, including hiring and terminating employees. Partner with department leadership to ensure effective performance management of direct reports. Establish and maintain procedures for new employee orientation. Mentor and provide learning and development opportunities for direct reports. Collaborate with human resources to meet the division's talent management goals.
  • Policies and Practices: Implement and enforce policies and procedures that guide and support departmental operations and services. Determine necessary operational changes due to policy updates.
  • Compliance: Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, such as JCAHO, HIPAA, and ODH. Design and implement programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance. Track relevant laws and regulations that might affect policies and procedures. Prepare compliance reports and communicate results as needed.
  • Financial Management: Assist with fiscal responsibilities of the department as requested. Monitor budget expenditures, identify and research variances or problems. Assist in tracking and monitoring revenue and expenses. Provide applicable reports. Research information for major purchases. May assist with annual budget preparation.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Preferred: Management/leadership experience
  • 5+ years of work experience in a related job discipline
  • Registered ARRT (R)
  • Registered ARRT (CT)
  • Ohio Radiology professional license as applicable to the modality/modalities overseen

Pay

Expected starting pay range: $100,526.40 - $130,686.40 annually. Starting pay is based on experience, skills, and equity; exceptions may apply for highly qualified candidates. Additional pay (e.g., shift, on-call, or weekend differentials) and benefits may apply. Annual pay may vary based on FTE status.
