Radiology Interventional Technologist
About the role
Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance in Torrance, CA is seeking a Radiology Interventional Technologist. This position is Full Time and will work Day shifts. The Angio Tech provides health care services using medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients. Perform radiographic and related procedures to demonstrate vascular structures for interpretation and/or therapeutic intervention by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. The Angio Tech responds to patients and families with knowledge of age-specific needs based on all age groups.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist
- Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year Diagnostic radiology experience
- Computer entry and word processing
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 months Health care setting including, but not limited to, department secretary, admitting, billing or a medical records clerical position

Pay
Pay Range: $48.79 - $75.74. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
