About the Role
This position involves performing advanced interventional procedures, assisting in the angiography lab, and providing comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities
- Maintain licensure and certifications.
- Assist with interventional procedures as a circulating, scrub, or monitoring technologist.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
- Adhere to radiation safety and infection control protocols.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of supplies, techniques, and equipment.
- Document procedures accurately and thoroughly.
- Coordinate patient care and transport patients as needed.
- Perform advanced interventions such as ablation and stent placement.
- Orient and mentor new staff members.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional or vascular radiography.
- ARRT certification required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Applicable state licensure.
- Knowledge of complex interventional procedures and infection control practices.
- Strong communication skills.

- Ability to respond effectively to emergent situations.
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Operate complex medical equipment with manual dexterity.
- Physical ability to lift, assist with patient transfers, and stand for extended periods.
